The Sigma 4-16 High Capacity Refrigerated Centrifuge series features outstanding versatility, performance and capacity. With maximum RCF up to 5,526 x g with a swing-out rotor or 25,155 x g with a fixed-angle rotor, they are the most versatile three-litre centrifuges in the industry. Large specimen volumes can also be processed efficiently thanks to the maximum capacity of 4 x 750 ml in a swing-out rotor or 6 x 250 ml a fixed-angle rotor. Smooth running guarantees excellent, reproducible sedimentation results, for which reason this compact centrifuge series is recommended not only for routine tasks but also for demanding applications in research and industry. Along with the unrefrigerated Sigma 4-16S, the refrigerated Sigma 4-16KS and Sigma 4-16KHS versions enable operation over an extended temperature range. The temperature of this refrigerable and heatable centrifuge can be set from -20°C to +60°C. That makes it particularly suitable for specimens that need to have their viscosity lowered during centrifugation. Sigma 4-16S
